Important! The current maintenance schedule presented to the reader applies to vehicles operated under normal conditions. If the vehicle is operated under any of the following conditions, the service intervals should be reduced by at least 5%:
- Operation in conditions of high dust, dirt and exposure to aggressive environments;
- Frequent trips during the cold season over a distance not exceeding 8 km;
- Frequent long trips at low speeds or with long periods of engine idling.
Weekly or every 1,000 km (every time you fill up your car with fuel)
1. Check the engine oil level. Add if necessary.
2. Check the coolant level. Add if necessary.
3. Check the fluid level in the clutch master cylinder. Add if necessary.
4. Check the power steering fluid level. Add if necessary.
5. Check the brake master cylinder fluid level. Add if necessary.
6. Check the electrolyte level in the battery (at least once a month). Add distilled water if necessary.
7. Check and adjust tire inflation pressure (when the wheels are cold). At the same time, it makes sense to visually assess the degree of wear of the tread and the presence of foreign objects stuck in it. A diagram for assessing the condition of tires is given in the section dedicated to diagnostics of tire faults.
Once every 6 months or every 10,000 km
1. Replace engine oil and oil filter.
2. Check the condition of the exhaust system components.
3. Check the condition of the air cleaner filter element. If necessary, clean the element or replace it.
4. Check the free travel of the clutch pedal. Adjust if necessary. Also check the proper functioning of the clutch.
5. Check the hydraulic clutch system for signs of leaks and line deterioration due to material aging.
6. Check the oil level in the transmission and transfer case.
7. Check the oil level in the differentials of both axles.
8. Assess the degree of wear of the cardan shaft crosspieces and fill the joints with grease.

9. Check the condition of the ball joints of the steering drive rods and lubricate them.
10. Check the power steering hydraulic system for signs of leaks and hose deterioration due to material aging.
11. Check the condition of the brake pads, discs, calipers and hydraulic lines. Check the hydraulic system for signs of leaks.
12. Check the proper functioning of the foot and parking brakes.
13. Check the proper functioning of all on-board electrical equipment, including the horn, lights, windshield wipers and washers. Lubricate the hinges and locks of all doors.
Once a year or every 20,000 km
All the above checks, plus:
1. Check the condition and tension of the drive belts in the engine compartment. Replace or adjust the tension if necessary.
2. On 4.2L models, check valve clearances and make any necessary adjustments.
3. Check the condition of all cooling/heating system hoses. Make necessary replacements.
4. Check the idle speed settings and mixture quality. Make adjustments if necessary.
5. Check the proper functioning of the starting automatics/air damper drive.
6. Check the proper functioning of the crankcase ventilation (PCV) system.
7. Check the correct operation of the automatic device that controls the heating of the air sucked into the air purifier.
