CVT Oil Check
Check oil level and leakage.
Check the condition of the oil.
Selector lever shift control
Check and adjust the range switch.
Line pressure check
1. Check the engine oil level. Top up if necessary.
2. Warm up the oil in the CVT to an operating temperature of 50-80°C after approx. 10 minute car ride. Then check the oil level in the CVT. Top up if necessary.
Note: At an ambient temperature of 20°C, after 10 minutes of driving in an urban driving cycle, the oil temperature in the CVT rises to 50-80°C.
3. After warming up the CVT, unscrew the plug of the control port to check the pressure and install a pressure gauge there (special tool ST2505S001).
Attention: Use the special tool ST25480000 to remove and install the control hole plug.
4. Tighten the parking brake to the stop, fix the wheels.
5. Start engine and measure line pressure at idle and wide open throttle.
Attention:
During the measurement, fully depress the brake pedal.
When measuring pressure at wide open throttle, see section below «Stationary check».
6. After completing the work, replace the control hole plug and tighten it with the required force.
: 5,0-6,8 N-m (0.5-0.7 kgm)
Caution: Since the threads of the plug will be covered with adhesive, do not reuse the removed plug.
