1. Remove the radiator assembly (see section Removal and installation the radiator and fan assembly).
2. Unscrew the central screw securing the impeller.
Note: The screw has a left-hand thread; after unscrewing, the screw should be replaced.
3. Remove the impeller and unscrew the 3 screws securing the fan electric motor.
4. Remove the electric motor from the casing.
5. Assembly is done in reverse order. Use new impeller mounting screw, pre-lubricated with fixing sealant.
6. Set the interior heater to the minimum temperature position.
7. Start the engine and increase the speed to 2000 rpm within 3 minutes.
8. Let the engine idle until the radiator fan comes on.
9. Check the coolant level and correct it if necessary.
