Attention.
- Replace the drive belt with a new one after each removal.
- The automatic drive belt tensioner and idler pulley must be replaced with new ones each time the drive belt is replaced.
- Do not run the engine without the drive belt to avoid damage to the crankshaft pulley.
Removing
1. Remove the front right fender liner.
2. Securely fix the pulley of the automatic tensioner of the drive belt using the TORX socket (A), then turn the key handle in the direction of the arrow (tensioner release direction).
Attention. Keep your hands away from the area in front of the key, as if the key comes off, it may cause injury.
3. Insert locking pin (A) or a short screwdriver into the hole for fixing the pulley of the automatic drive belt tensioner.
Note.
- Do not remove the locking pin after the drive belt has been removed.
- Use hard metal wire with a diameter of approximately 3.0 mm as the fixing pin.
4. Remove the register belt.
