2. If the valve seats were removed, install them.
3. Install the valve seals.
Install the seal using a drift (special tool), as shown in the figure.
The seals for the intake and exhaust valves are different, so they have different colors.
- For intake: black color
- For release: brown color
Note: The figure shows the dimension before installing the valve spring seat.
4. Install the valve spring seats.
5. Install the valves.
The valve with a large head is installed on the intake side.
Be careful, because the valve arrangement is different from the valve arrangement in conventional engines.
6. Install the valve springs.
The end of the spring with a smaller pitch of coils (there is color marking) point towards the cylinder head.
7. Install the valve spring retainers.
8. Install the crackers.
Compress the valve spring with a compressor and install the crackers using a magnetic pin.
After installing the crackers, lightly tap the end of the valve stem with a plastic hammer to ensure that the crackers are seated correctly.
9. Install the valve lifters and adjusting washers.
Install the parts in the same places where they were before.
