Rear Bumper Installation Components
1 - Side bracket; 2 - Shock absorber; 3 - Lower rear bar; 4 - Bumper cover; 5 - Bumper bracket
1. Remove the rear combination lamps (see Chapter On-board electrical equipment).
2. Remove the rear lower rear bumper trim retainer and unscrew the trim mounting screws.
3. Unhook the clips from the bumper cover side in the direction shown in the illustration.
4. Remove the license plate light and remove the rear bumper cover by pulling it backwards.
5. Release the lower rear bar from the clips and remove it.
6. Remove the bolts and bumper bracket.
7. Installation is done in reverse order. Make sure that the bottom of the bumper cover enters the lower rear bar.
