1. To remove the fuel filler flap lock, turn it counterclockwise. To remove the lock drive cable, disconnect it from the lever.
2. Remove the radiator grilles (see section Removal and installation the decorative radiator grille).
3. Remove the hood latch mounting bolts (see lower right section in illustration Hood installation dimensions (mm)).
4. Disconnect the cable from the lock and remove the lock.
5. Remove the front bumper, unscrew the bolts, and remove the hood lock bracket.
6. If necessary, remove the lock actuator cable as described below.
7. Remove the upper radiator support beam and the hood release cable holders in the engine compartment.
8. Remove the hood release lever and disconnect the cable from it.

9. Remove the seal in the engine compartment bulkhead and pull the hood lock drive cable out of the passenger compartment.
10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing the lock bracket, tighten the bolts starting from the bottom.
