Note: The rear shock absorber installation components are shown in the illustration Rear suspension.
1. Remove the appropriate wheel.
2. Remove the lower side trim panel of the luggage compartment (see Chapter Body).
3. Loosen the upper shock absorber mounting nut and remove the shock absorber stop and bushing.
4. Place a jack under the suspension beam and support it. Unscrew the lower shock absorber bolt and remove the shock absorber.
5. Check the shock absorber and its assembly components. Replace faulty components.
6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
