1. Find the diameter class of the connecting rod journals from the front or rear side of the crankshaft (0, 1 or 2) and select connecting rod bearings of the same class (STD 0-2).
Note: There is no grade for big end big end inner diameter.
When the crankshaft and connecting rod are reused
1. Measure the outer diameters of the large connecting rod heads and make sure they are correct.
2. Measure the outside diameters of the connecting rod journals of the crankshaft.
3. According to the measurements obtained from the table (column «Outer diameter of connecting rod journal») select the connecting rod bearing of the appropriate class (STD 0-2).

Guidelines for the use of reduced oversize connecting rod bearings
If the specified oil clearance cannot be achieved with standard size connecting rod bearings, use undersized bearings.
When using an undersized bearing, measure the bearing inside diameter on the installed bearing and regrind the crankpin so that the lubrication clearance is correct.

Attention: When regrinding the crankpins for undersized bearings, keep the rounded corners on all the crankpins.
