Turn the ignition key to the ON position (without starting the engine).
Make sure that the engine is not affected by additional electrical loads: air conditioning, power steering pump and various electrical consumers. Move the selector lever to position N or P.
Make sure the engine is off and the parking brake pedal is depressed. Turn the ignition key to the ON position, then move the selector lever from D to P and back 4 times within 2 to 15 seconds. The adjustment process starts automatically.
Attention: The adjustment process takes approx. 30 seconds. During this time, do not perform any actions that result in vibration of the body (e.g. opening/closing doors).
Note: The adjustment process is accompanied by a change in the tone of the sound of the drives.
Approx. 30 seconds after starting the adjustment, turn the ignition key to the OFF position. At the same time, the sound of vibration of the front and rear engine mounts ceases to be heard.
Adjustment Notes
Carry out the adjustment on level ground, with the doors and hood closed.
The car must stand with all wheels on the ground. Do not make any adjustments when the vehicle is raised.
Do not allow body vibration during adjustment.
- Warm season: do not adjust immediately after driving.
- Cold season: before adjusting, warm up the engine by letting it run at idle speed. (this is especially true for models for regions with a cold climate).
Make sure the battery voltage is at least 9V.
Check that there is no damage to all parts that affect the operation of the ACM system (brackets, center beam and front suspension beam). Check tightness of bolts and nuts.
