Removing
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable before removing it.
2. Access to the fuel pressure regulator will be significantly improved if the air filter is removed (see subsection 6.3.1.2).
3. Disconnect the throttle potentiometer connector.
4. Use white paint or a marker to make marks on the throttle body and potentiometer.
5. Loosen and remove the two mounting screws, then remove the mounting plate and potentiometer.
Installation
6. When installing, install the potentiometer on the throttle body so that its lever is correctly positioned on top of the throttle shaft lever.
7. Install the fixing plate, then align the marks made before removal and tighten the fixing screws a little.
8. Adjust potentiometer. To do this, using a tester set to measure resistance, check that the resistance of the potentiometer is as indicated in subsection 6.3.1.1.
9. If necessary, loosen the fixing screws and turn the potentiometer.
10. When the potentiometer is correctly installed, securely tighten the fixing screws and connect the connection plug.
11. Connect the battery and, if necessary, replace the air filter.
