Intake manifold mounting components

1. Remove the air intake sleeve and air cleaner cover assembly (see section Removal and installation air intake tract components).
2. Remove the PCV hose (between the intake manifold and the cylinder head cover) from the intake manifold side.
3. Remove the support bracket mounting bolt (1 in the illustration above).
4. Remove the nuts and bolts in the reverse order shown in the illustration Intake manifold fastener tightening sequence.

Giving away nut #5
Note: #6 in the illustration Intake manifold fastener tightening sequence when removing the semantic load it does not carry; loosening and tightening nuts #5 and #4 can be made easier by inserting a wrench into the corresponding recesses (2 in the illustration Giving away nut #5).
5. Remove the intake manifold.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Pay attention to the cleanliness and flatness of the mating surfaces. Tighten the fasteners in the sequence indicated in the illustration Intake manifold fastener tightening sequence.
Note: #6 in the illustration Intake manifold fastener tightening sequence indicates that bolt #1 needs to be tightened again.
