Removal
Attention:
- Before servicing the SRS system, turn the ignition switch to the "OFF" position, disconnect both battery cables, and wait at least 3 minutes.
- Do not use pneumatic or power tools when servicing.
1. Disconnect the connector from the shock sensor.
2. Unscrew the mounting nuts and remove the shock sensor.

Fastening nut: Tightening torque: 10.8 N·m (1.1 kg·m)
Attention:
- If the shock sensor has been dropped or hit, replace it.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the shock sensor.
- After unscrewing, do not use old bolts, replace them with new ones.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
Attention:
- Check if the shock sensor is installed correctly.
- Do not use pneumatic or power tools when servicing.
- After completing the work, perform self-diagnosis and make sure that no faults are found.
