After checking the toe-in, perform a front wheel steering angle check. Roll the car with the front wheels on the gauges for measuring the angle of rotation, the rear wheels on stands of the same height. Check the maximum steering angle of the left and right wheels on the inner and outer turning radius.
Start the engine. While it is running at idle speed, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock and measure the steering angles.
Inner turning angle: 38°+1°/-3°
Outside turning angle: 33°
The angles of rotation of the front wheels are not adjustable. If any of these are abnormal, check for wear or damage to steering gear, steering column and front suspension components. If any abnormality is found, replace the defective parts.
