2. Install the gear and reverse locking clutch.
3. Install the balls, spring and threaded sleeve of the reverse gear lock.
4. Check the moment of resistance of the clamp (on the gear selector rod). If the moment is not within the limits specified in section "Data for adjustments and control", install a threaded bushing of a different length. Available bushings are listed in the same section. Apply thread locking compound to the bushing threads before final installation.

5. Install the bushing, ball and gear lock spring.

6. Install the oil pocket.
7. Install the shafts and differential into the clutch housing as described below.
For RS5F30A:
Install the differential and reverse idler gear.
Install the primary and secondary shafts simultaneously, engaging their gears. When installing the shafts, be careful not to damage the primary shaft seal and oil channel.
Secure the bearing holder. One of the screws has a torx head and must be tightened with a suitable tool (with a bent key). After tightening the torx screw, punch it at two points.

For RS5F31A:
Install the primary shaft assembly and reverse idler gear. Be careful not to damage the seal with the shaft splines.

Install the differential.
Install the secondary shaft assembly, being careful not to damage the oil channel.
8. Lubricate the locking crackers with grease and install them on the control bracket. Install the bracket together with the 1st and 2nd gear shift fork.
10. Install the 3/4th and 5th gear shift forks.
11. Insert the fork stem. Before installing the stem spring, apply a multi-purpose grease to it
12. Install the reverse intermediate gear spacer sleeve.
13. Apply the recommended sealant to the clutch housing mounting surface.

14. Install the gearbox housing onto the clutch housing.
15. Measure the total torque of resistance to gearbox rotation. The torque value for new bearings is given in section "Data for adjustments and control".
When reusing old bearings, the torque may be slightly lower.
