Gas Pedal Mounting Components
1. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor connector.
2. Remove the gas pedal assembly mounting bolts and remove it.
Note: Do not disassemble the gas pedal or remove the sensors.
3. Fold back the mat and remove the gas pedal stop by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. After installation, make sure that the gas pedal moves smoothly and returns to its original position after pressing.
5. Program the released gas pedal position (see section Programming reference values for the engine management system).
