Master cylinder seal replacement intervals:
- When using the car individually: do not change
- For commercial vehicle use: every 4 years
Removing
1. Drain the brake fluid.
2. Disconnect the wiring connector from the liquid level sensor.
3. Use a box wrench to separate the master cylinder and brake pipe.
4. At first turn off fixing nuts, then remove the main cylinder.
Installation
1. Connect the brake pipe to the master cylinder assembly and tighten the union nut by hand.
2. Connect the master cylinder to the brake booster assembly and tighten the fixing nuts to the required torque.
3. Tighten the union nut of the brake tube with the required force.
: 15-17 N-m (1.5-1.8 kg m)
4. Fill in fresh brake fluid and bleed the brake system.
