Drive belts should be replaced if damaged or when the tensioner wear limit is reached (see Section Checking the condition of the accessory drive belt and adjusting its tension).
Checking the pre-catalytic lambda probe on models with Euro-OBD is not required.
The fuel filter is also out of service.
Annually or every 15,000 km
- Changing the engine oil and oil filter (see Section Changing the engine oil and oil filter)1;
- Checking the condition of the cooling system (see Section Checking fluid levels, leak control);
- Checking the installation of headlights (see Section Headlight alignment check);
- Checking the hydraulic drive of the brake system and clutch for leaks, checking the brake fluid level (see Sections Checking fluid levels, leak control and Checking the brake system and clutch);
- Checking the level and leakage of manual transmission oil (see Section Checking fluid levels, leak control);
- Checking ATF Level and Leaks (see Section Checking fluid levels, leak control)2;
- Checking the condition of the steering gear, steering rods, drive shafts, suspension components and exhaust system (see Sections Check of a condition of system of release of the fulfilled gases - Checking the condition of the protective covers of the CV joints of the drive shafts)3;
- Checking the wheel alignment, if necessary, rotating and balancing the wheels (see chapter Suspension and steering);
- Checking the condition of brake pads, discs and other components of the brake system (see chapter Brake system and Section Checking the brake system and clutch)4;
- Checking the function and play of the clutch, service and parking brakes (see chapter Brake system and Section Checking the brake system and clutch);
- Examination of the body for scratches, abrasions, etc., as well as for damage to anti-corrosion materials (once a year);
1 — When operating the vehicle in dusty areas, when towing a trailer, when frequently driving short distances and idling for a long time, change the engine oil and oil filter every 7500 km or 6 months.
2 — When operating the vehicle on rough and muddy roads, in deserts, as well as during frequent trips over short distances, the ATF should be replaced every 30,000 km or 2 years (see Section Replacement of transmission oil AT and manual transmission).
3 — When operating the vehicle in areas with salt or other corrosive materials, as well as in rough and muddy roads and deserts, the inspection should be carried out every 7500 km or 6 months.
4 — When operating the vehicle in dusty and mountainous areas, in areas with salt or other corrosive materials, in rough and muddy roads and deserts, when towing a trailer, and when braking frequently, check every 7500 km or 6 months.
Every 2 years or 30,000 km
- Checking the condition of the fuel lines (see chapter Power supply and exhaust systems and Section Checking the condition and replacing hoses and tubes in the engine compartment, localizing leaks);
- Replacing spark plugs (see Section Replacing spark plugs);
- Checking the EVAP System Purge Lines (see chapter Power supply and exhaust systems and Section Checking the condition and replacing hoses and tubes in the engine compartment, localizing leaks);
- Brake Fluid Replacement (see Section Changing the brake fluid and bleeding the brake system)1;
- Check of a condition of vacuum hoses, connections and the control valve of the amplifier of brakes (see Sections Checking the condition and replacing hoses and tubes in the engine compartment, localizing leaks and Checking the brake system and clutch);
- Replacing the cabin filter of the ventilation system (see Section Cabin filter replacement (ventilation systems))2;
- On models without Euro-OBD, check the condition of the pre-catalytic lambda probe (see chapter Power supply and exhaust systems).
1 - When operating the vehicle in mountainous areas and in areas with high humidity, the brake fluid should be replaced annually or every 15,000 km.
2 — When operating the vehicle in dusty areas, the filter should be replaced annually or every 15,000 km.
Every 3 years or 45,000 km
- Checking coolant level and antifreeze concentration (see Section Checking fluid levels, leak control). The next check should be made at 120,000 km (8 years), and then every 60,000 km mileage (4 years), i.e. in the middle of the interval between coolant changes;
Every 4 years or 60,000 km
- Replacing the air cleaner element (see Section Replacing the air cleaner element). When operating the vehicle in dusty areas, the filter should be replaced every 2 years (30,000 km).
Every 6 years or 90,000 km
- Coolant replacement (see Section Coolant replacement). Then the coolant should be replaced every 4 years (60,000 km mileage).
